Frame Geometry Properties

Frame Geometry Properties modifies the frame geometry settings of shared image sets. This class replaces the frame geometry functionality previously found in Sweep Properties.

Input

At least one shared image set with a valid frame geometry metadata is required.

Output

None. The input shared image set(s) are updated with the new frame geometry settings.

Description

The algorithm opens a dialog to manipulate geometry settings. This allows users to define the geometry of the image region within rectangular images. The Suite refers to this geometry as the Frame Geometry.

Features

• Crop: Crops the image to the circumscribing rectangle of the selected frame geometry, adjusting the calibration matrix accordingly.

• Mask Options: - Add/Remove Fan Mask: Adds or removes a mask to the images, ensuring that pixel data outside the fan remain untouched by most algorithms, such as Image Registration or Ultrasound Calibration. - Set Outside Pixels to Zero: This irreversible action modifies pixel intensities in all areas outside the fan.

This streamlined functionality ensures precise frame geometry control for images with frame geometries sweeps.
