Detailed Description

Algorithm for reading and writing RGB-D sequences.

This class provides functionality for importing and exporting RGB-D sequence data. It supports reading sequences from supported file formats and writing sequences to disk. The algorithm can be initialized for either read or write mode, depending on the constructor used.

Usage:

  • Use the default constructor for reading sequences.
  • Use the constructor with an RGBDPlayback pointer for writing/exporting a sequence.
  • Call compute() to perform the read or write operation.
  • Use takeOutput() to retrieve the loaded sequence (in read mode).
  • Use supportedFileExtensions() to query supported file formats.

Important aspects:

  • The algorithm operates in either read or write mode, determined at construction.
  • In write mode, takeOutput() returns an empty list.
  • Compatibility with input data can be checked using createCompatible().
  • Not thread-safe.
