Algorithm that applies ultrasound-style log compression to scalar amplitude or complex IQ images. More...
Algorithm that applies ultrasound-style log compression to scalar amplitude or complex IQ images.
Two-channel images are treated as interleaved IQ data (same convention as envelope detection). Single-channel images are treated as a pre-computed instantaneous amplitude, equivalent to \(\sqrt{I^2+Q^2}\) for interleaved IQ data.
