Convert a skeleton image to a raw graph structure.
The nodes of the graph are the (integer) pixel indices, and the edges are the l^1 distances between the nodes. If simplify is set to true, then we remove edges that are part of small cycles.

Convert a graph as returned by skeletonAsGraph into a Graph.
Nodes are coordinates of pixels, edges initially have a single point being the midpoint between the nodes. If combineChains is true, chains like n0 - n1 - n2, where n1 has no other edges, are combined to longer edges n0 – n2 The parameter smoothing controls the smoothing strength (0 means no smoothing).
