Spine
=====

The Spine Plugin provides a set of algorithms to automatically detect spinal structures in a CT or MRI scan.
The structures are indivitually localized and segmented into a Anatomical Structure Collection, that can be used in subsequent algorithms such as; conversion to label maps, registration between scans, template based registration and segmentation, and polyrigid deformation of the underlying data.

The main segmentation workflow is done using the :ref:`Localization and Segmentation<spinelocalization>` algorithm.
