Transmit pulse configuration. More...

Detailed Description

Transmit pulse configuration.

Public Member Functions

bool operator== (const Transmit &other) const
bool operator!= (const Transmit &other) const
std::vector< double > calculateDelays (const Transducer &transducer) const
 Returns the transmit delays (in [s]) to apply to the transmitting aperture.

Public Attributes

double pulseFrequency = 0
 Frequency of the transmit pulse in Hertz.
double pulseLength = 0
 Transmit pulse length, expressed in cycles (is usually a multiple of 0.5).
double speedOfSound = 0
 Speed of sound to assume for delay calculations in mm/s.
int apertureFirst = 0
 first index of the transducer elements used for the transmission
int apertureLast = -1
 last index of the transducer elements used for the transmission
WavefrontShape eventType = WavefrontShape::Focused
 Transmit pulse type.
vec3 timeZeroPoint {0.0, 0.0, 0.0}
 Point on the transducer that marks the start of the receive time when the exciting wave passes through it.
vec3 waveFiducial {0.0, 0.0, 0.0}
 The point defining the wavefront shape For focused: Focal point For plane wave : Plane normal For diverging wave: Virtual source.
vec3 waveStart {0.0, 0.0, 0.0}
 Start point of the wave.

Member Data Documentation

◆ waveStart

vec3 ImFusion::US::PulseEchoEvent::Transmit::waveStart {0.0, 0.0, 0.0}

Start point of the wave.

Used to determine the region for which to beamform. For focused: scanline start For plane wave and diverging wave: Center of transmitting aperture
