DICOM Editor

Provides a dialog to anonymize DICOM files.

Description

First select a folder containing DICOM files that should be anonymized and click Scan. Next, select a folder where the anonymized DICOM files should be saved to. We do not recommend to select the input folder here, since this will overwrite the original files! In the tree, the series that should be anonymized can be selected now and the anonymisation started by clicking on Anonymize.

The tool follows the recommendations of the DICOM Standard for anonymisation. By default private tags will be deleted, because they cannot be anonymized reliable. Use the Keep private tags option to ignore private tags. Be aware that private tags might leak private information about the patient!
